Smorenburg Designs is a Durban based, design and manufacturing company of bespoke furniture.We pride ourselves in making high end bespoke furniture using the finest quality materials available to us.

We use an eclectic mix of timber, steel, stone and glass in the design of our furniture and custom build to our client’s needs.
Our Passion
I started the company after identifying the overwhelming need for locally manufactured “man-made” Furniture. Having seen what’s on offer these days, with the majority of furniture being imported, and the quality issues that come with imports and limited recourse after purchase.
I have always had a passion for furniture design and have been involved in the industry for over 20 years.
We offer a personalised service from design, choice of materials and finish, digital rendering of furniture prior to manufacture, and delivery of all pieces, to ensure our client’s feel like they are the only one that we are working with.
We do not mass produce – we create individual works of art, worth talking about, made to the highest of standards, and built to last through generations.
Whilst we predominantly build tables, be it Conference tables, front of office tables, Dining tables etc. we are very diverse and able to tackle most high end pieces to suit our client’s needs.
